Kennebunkport, Maine Saltbox Home Renovation

This home was built in 1962 by Arthur Hendrick on Mast Cove. A sunroom was added in the 1990s. We renovated the entry sunroom, which opens to the kitchen but each remains its own space with a cased opening between them. A vaulted ceiling and new windows were added creating a large open feeling. The kitchen is a combination of repurposed beams, nickel gap ceiling, with painted and stained finishes. The dining and lounging room is open to the kitchen, but separated by a cased opening. The ceiling is a mixture of painted and stained finishes, which ties in very nicely with the fireplace. Adding more windows facing the cove brought the outdoor beauty inside. Design work was done by Ryan Donnelly Design.
