Doing renovations, no matter how large or small the project, are always a welcome challenge to us. In many respects the changes made to existing structures require more thought and can be as rewarding, if not more, as new construction.

Historical District Kennebunkport, Maine
Barn Renovation & Addition

This beautiful completely renovated 1700s two-story barn with adjoining addition is located in downtown Kennebunkport and boasts some very unique features.

KENNEBUNKPORT DUTCH GAMBREL PHASE Two

The objective for the first and second floors included creating additional square footage to gain an open concept flow throughout the kitchen, pantry and breakfast nook. The added square footage allowed for a spacious second floor master bath and bedroom as well as a closet area. With changes in location of the pantry, direct access increased from living to dining rooms with the result of more natural light and movement throughout the home.

Kennebunkport Dutch Gambrel Phase One

1900's Gambrel major facelift including replacement of two A-frame dormers with a single larger one, first floor windows, new door with detailed roof overhang, new trim, and cedar siding. The interior received a new laundry room and interior window trim to match existing style with fresh white paint.

18TH CENTURY COLONIAL HOME

In 1745 the Gideon Walker House was recorded as the third building in Kennebunkport in what is known as the village. Over the next one hundred years several sections were added to the original structure which became apparent when connected sheathed walls were uncovered during renovation.

KENNEBUNKPORT SALTBOX HOME

This 1962 Saltbox home was upgraded with new windows for greater sun exposure. The interior was renovated with an entry sunroom, vaulted ceilings, a combination of repurposed beams, nickel gap ceiling, and a mixture of painted and stained finishes in the kitchen.

Drakes Island Home with Ocean VieW

A complete rehab of this ranch-style home including vaulting the ceilings and creating an open concept. We added a garage, a breezeway and finished with new cedar shingles.
